OB/Gyn Generalist Community Hospital Practice Nashville Metro & Middle TN

Vanderbilt Health is seeking OB/Gyn Generalists for community hospital practices in Lebanon, Columbia, Tullahoma, and Clarksville, Tennessee - all within easy reach of Nashville. About the Clinics & Communities

Positions available in four growing Middle Tennessee communities, each offering an excellent quality of life and close proximity to Nashville.

Vanderbilt Center for Women's Health-Lebanon

  1. This faculty group of 4 generalists, 1 hospitalist, 3 APNs, and 3 CNMs see patients at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital, a 245-bed community hospital with 850 deliveries last year.
  2. There is planned expansion and renovation in both inpatient and outpatient services to support rapid community growth; our goal is to increase deliveries by 400 in two years.
  3. Lebanon is located 25 miles east of Nashville with a family friendly atmosphere and historic charm.

Vanderbilt Center for Women's Health-Columbia

  1. Columbia, 45 miles south of Nashville, is the county seat of Maury County, the fastest growing county in Tennessee.
  2. Made up of 5 generalist faculty and 5 APNs, they practice at Maury Regional Medical Center, a 250-bed community hospital.
  3. Unassigned call shared with community physicians, and practice call is 1:6.

Vanderbilt Integrated Women's Health-Tullahoma

  1. This fast-growing practice currently employs 2 physicians, 2 hospitalists, and 1 APN who work at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital, a 135-bed community hospital.
  2. Plans for growth include renovations to the LDRs, ORs, and nursery, as well as additional clinic space.
  3. Tullahoma is a small city with unique charm; recently voted the Micropolis in TN, it is anchored by Arnold AFB and the world's largest aerospace testing facility, which brings a diverse population that tends to be well-educated and internationally connected.
  4. Tullahoma has great shopping, restaurants, a growing arts scene, and access to stunning natural areas like Tims Ford Lake and the Cumberland Plateau for boating, watersports, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

Vanderbilt Center for Women's Health-Clarksville

  1. A busy and growing clinic serving the fifth-largest city in Tennessee and the newly acquired 270-bed Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital.
  2. This faculty group of 6 generalists, 4 hospitalists, 4 APNs, and 3 CNMs are planning to expand clinical locations in Clarksville with the addition of 2 generalists.
  3. Clarksville is one of Tennessee's fastest-growing communities, offering affordable housing, top-rated schools, and an easy commute from Nashville.
  4. Explore a vibrant arts scene, historic downtown, or outdoor recreation along the Cumberland River.

Qualifications

MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology. A firm commitment to the Vanderbilt values of innovation, collaboration, and quality. Academic rank is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and career goals.
