Facility:
This urgent care center is part of a well-established network of community-focused healthcare clinics dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible medical care to patients of all ages. The facility operates with a supportive team including a Center Manager, Medical Assistants, Patient Service Associates, and an offsite Supervising Physician for APP providers.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Job Details:
  • Provider must be local and already reside in the immediate Fayetteville area
  • Primary locations include Hope Mills and Francam Drive in Fayetteville, with potential coverage at Lumberton
  • Must have experience treating both adults and pediatric patients ages 6 months and older
  • Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience required; new graduates will not be considered
  • Must be able to function as the sole provider in the center while managing high patient volumes (average 45 patients per day, up to 60 PPD depending on site)
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills required as provider will work one-on-one with support staff and patients
  • Must maintain a positive attitude that aligns with the facility's culture of high-quality community healthcare
  • Active NC license and active NC DEA required
  • Board certification required (BC / NCCPA / NP Boards); BLS certification required
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required; provider will use Epic for all patient visits
  • Modified Epic EMR training and onboarding is mandatory prior to first solo shift; training occurs on set Wednesdays and provider must be available to participate
  • A clinical screening interview must be passed before scheduling and onboarding can begin
  • Procedures include laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor urgent care procedures
  • No call requirements; supervising physician provided offsite for locum APPs
  • Provider must be licensed in NC only; IMLC not applicable
  • Not eligible for travel or lodging reimbursement; limited mileage only (60 miles total round trip)
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 20 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
