Occupational Therapist - School - (OT - School)
StartDate: 8/11/2026 Available Shifts: 7 D Pay Rate: $2655.00 - $2736.00

Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) position available in Palo Alto, CA for the school year, serving students in a K12 school district across 23 sites. This role supports a caseload of approximately 3540 students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, functional independence, and access to the educational environment. Responsibilities include completing evaluations and assessments, developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), providing direct and consultative therapy services, documenting progress, and collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success. Experience with school-based documentation systems such as SIRAS or AbleSpace is preferred.This is an in-person position following a Monday through Friday school schedule. Candidates must meet California state and Department of Education requirements. Certifications: OTR-National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in CA.

Preferred Qualifications
Initial certification through NBCOT
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
