The Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a critical role in managing warehouse inventory and materials using forklift equipment within a medium-sized team. This position involves daily equipment maintenance and cross-functional duties beyond typical forklift operation, ensuring efficient and safe warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, including Hi Lo equipment
- Handle inventory accurately and maintain organized storage
- Load and unload materials from trucks and pallets
- Pick orders to prepare shipments
- Perform daily maintenance and inspections on forklifts
- Collaborate with team members across different warehouse functions
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Proficient in forklift operation and material handling
- Experienced Hi Lo operator
