NP Oncology Opening in UTLocated in Moab, UTFull-time; Permanent positionBE/BC40 hours per week; No scheduled call OverviewDevelop a comprehensive treatment plan and manage antineoplastic drugs, biologics, hormone therapy, immune modulators and/or related agents, with patient's oncologist and other team members (internal and external);Daily communication, review, and planning with MRH's USP 797- and 800-compliant Pharmacy Team;Consult with MRH Emergency Department physicians, as well as the patient's oncology team on antineoplastic-related emergencies;Maintain accurate and timely documentation;Monthly review of clinical practice decisions, to include ANM (antineoplastic management) decisions, with collaborating/supervising physician;Attendance and engagement in tumor boards with affiliated oncology providers and teamsQualifications1-3 years in inpatient or outpatient oncology setting as an A.P.R.NSuccessful completion of insurance empaneling process, in order to bill for services when appropriate;Competency in chemotherapy and biotherapy managementAOCNP (Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner within 12 months of hire (financial assistance available)BLS/ACLS About the area Nestled at the base of the LaSal Mountains and along the banks of the Colorado River, small-town friendliness coupled with unparalleled natural beauty make this a great place to call home.
