Why This Role Trauma surgery APP coverage opportunity with up to full-time scheduling Level I Trauma Center environment Primarily trauma hospitalist rounding responsibilities Epic EMR environment Collaborative team with 24-hour trauma surgeon support Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Setting: Inpatient Coverage Period: May 2027 - July 2027 Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM No call responsibilities Trauma Level: I Patient Volume: 10-14 admitted patients per day on non-ICU service Approximately 6 ICU patients 2-15 admissions/ED consults per 24-hour period EMR: Epic Independent practice with physician support available 24/7 Requirements Active MN license Board Certified ACNP, AGNP, or PA-C Acute Care NP or PA only ACLS ATLS PALS DEA Minimum 1 year inpatient APP experience Experience in trauma, ICU, and/or orthopedic settings NPDB self-query completed within the current month Clinical Details Trauma hospitalist rounding Trauma activations Emergency department trauma consults Admissions and discharge management Daily inpatient management of trauma and surgical patients Ventilation management Non-invasive ventilation management (CPAP/BiPAP) Chest tube insertion Central line placement Arterial line placement Suturing minor lacerations Coordination with trauma surgery service Next StepsIf you're interested, please send:Updated CVCurrent availabilityActive state license(s)IMLC Status Preferred rate (We submit whatever rate would make the assignment work for you.
