We areseeking an experienced Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant orNurse Practitioner to provide 24-hour call coverage in Lincoln, Nebraska. Theideal candidate will have strong cardiothoracic surgery experience, includingfirst assisting in the operating room and endoscopic or open vein harvesting.

Responsibilities
- First assist in a variety of cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
- Perform endoscopic and/or open vein harvesting.
- Provide perioperative management of cardiothoracic surgery patients.
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage, including overnight phone consultations and emergent operative cases.
- Evaluate patients, assist with preoperative and postoperative care, and collaborate closely with the cardiothoracic surgery team.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in Epic.
Qualifications
- Board-Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Active Nebraska PA or NP license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Extensive cardiothoracic surgery experience required.
- Demonstrated proficiency as a first assist in cardiothoracic procedures.
- Experience performing vein harvesting is required.
