Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary
MMG machine operators produce a variety of precision metal parts primarily from Aluminum, Steel, Brass, and Copper, using computer numerically-controlled (CNC) machine tools such as Vertical and Horizontal Milling Machines as well as Conventional, Multi-Op and Swiss Style Lathes.
Key Responsibilities
Review blueprints and/or written specifications for a jobWrite programs and apply machine tool mathUnderstand and monitor the feed rate and speed of machineSet-up controls and make the cuts to make machined partsEnsure machine is working properly through standard preventative maintenance procedures
and to make certain machine is properly feeding, cutting, cooling and lubricating part while in
operationUtilize specialized inspection tools to check tolerancesUnderstand and maintain QC proceduresWork within a visual Lean Manufacturing Environment/System; maintain as clean and safe
work environmentUnderstand and follow all ISO proceduresMust follow procedures and execute tasks assigned by Team LeaderMust comply with ALL Company code of conduct, safety and procedural rules and regulations
Required Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED PreferredTasks require standing and walking 100% of the time; lifting, reaching, and repetitive motionTasks require use of hand tools and power toolsTasks require clear close vision for inspection of partsTasks require lifting up to 50 pounds.Must work in a safe and reliable manner.Must be able to work as a team player

Compensation details: 18-38.33 Hourly Wage
