Maintenance Electrician
Dixon, IL
$32.00 - $38.00 per hour + 8% Shift Differential
2nd or 3rd Shift 8-Hour Shifts
Overtime Available

We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established printing manufacturer in Dixon, IL.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on highly automated production equipment while earning shift differential, overtime and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental and vision insurance.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, automation and mechanical equipment
- Install, upgrade and modify manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and support PLC-controlled machinery
- Perform preventative and reliability-centred maintenance
- Recommend equipment improvements and corrective actions
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and maintenance drawings
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
- Work closely with Production to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards
What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years' industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical background
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and automation systems
- Strong understanding of PLC systems and industrial controls
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and maintenance diagrams
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards
- Mechanical maintenance experience
