    Job Details
  • The Medical Care Unit (MCU) handles less acute patients awaiting placement to long term care facilities with a variety of medical diagnoses.
  • The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab; nurses may float between these units.
  • Inpatient Rehab is a designated unit for intense rehab services.
  • Care is delivered using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
  • Patient populations include Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry, and Psychiatric issues.
  • EPIC EMR experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months is required.
  • Travelers may occasionally be placed on call during low census and must respond and arrive onsite within one hour if called.
    Job Requirements
  • Telemetry experience preferred.
  • EPIC EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.

  • Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (Day shift)

  • Unit includes Medical Care Unit with less acute patients and Inpatient Rehab unit for intense rehab services.
  • Patient populations served include Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry, and Psychiatric issues.
    Additional Details
  • While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census and must be able to respond and arrive onsite within one hour.
