Position Overview
We are seeking motivated Production Assemblers to join our C Shift team in Fairport, NY. In this role, you will contribute to meeting daily production quotas while maintaining high quality standards.
C Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Training will be conducted on A Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) for a minimum of 2 months before transitioning to C Shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assembly equipment including hydraulic presses, drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
- Rotate across different work cells as directed by supervisors or cell leaders.
- Pack finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production cell.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly or lean manufacturing.
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, read measuring devices, and follow written instructions.
- Proficient English reading and writing skills (including MSDS sheets and work instructions).
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, standing for long periods, and moving around the production floor.
