JOB SUMMARY
Panel Shop Assembler builds electrical control panels for end user applications. Electrical control
panels vary by size and complexity and are built to engineered standards and UL508A specifications.
Employees will be responsible for but not limited to the mounting, wiring, cutting, and
assembling of various components required in the build process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately measure, drill, punch and install various components as required.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Install components, crimp connections, and route wiring with attention to detail.
- Work requires the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain an organized work area for safety and productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Standing and or sitting for long periods of time during an 8-hour shift.
SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
General understanding of basic tool safety
Basic understanding of electricity
Reliable Transportation
Available to work shop hours 7a to 4p
Able to lift up to 40lbs
