Join a well-established urology program serving Stevens Point and the surrounding central Wisconsin region. This ongoing locums opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, operating room time, and shared system call while providing care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Multiple providers will be considered
Schedule:
Approximately 36 clinical hours per week
Combination of clinic and operating room time
Two to three days per week in the operating room
Clinic schedule and operating room days are flexible
May include one to two outreach clinic days per month in Wisconsin Rapids
Call Schedule:
System-wide call based out of Wausau
Approximately seven to ten call days per month
Includes one weekend of call each month
Call schedule varies depending on Stevens Point coverage commitment
Thirty-minute response time required

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
Hospital and outpatient clinic
Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Level III Trauma Center
Hospital Stroke Certified
Patient Population:
Adult urology patients
Assigned and unassigned patient coverage
Patient Volume:
Approximately 16 clinic patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities:
Outpatient urology clinic
Operative urologic procedures
Inpatient consultations
Hospital admissions
Daily rounding as needed
Emergency urology call coverage
Outreach clinic coverage in Wisconsin Rapids when scheduled
Collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams
Required Procedures:
Comprehensive general urologic surgical procedures
Operating room coverage
Hospital-based urologic care
Support & Technology
Support Staff:
Established hospital and clinic staff
Operating room personnel
Multidisciplinary inpatient support
EMR System:
Epic
Requirements
Board Certified in Urology - Required
Fellowship Training - Required
BLS Certification - Required
Ability to respond within 30 minutes while on call - Required
