Job Opportunity: Neonatologist in Lansing, MI

Join our esteemed Level III NICU at a top-tier facility in Lansing, Michigan. This role is ideal for a Board Certified Neonatologist available to provide exceptional care while managing a dynamic patient environment. With an emphasis on high-risk deliveries and advanced neonatal procedures, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art setting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections.
  • Provide ventilation management including BiPAP/CPAP and oscillator ventilator support.
  • Perform essential neonatal procedures such as:
    • Chest tube insertion
    • Central line insertion
    • Arterial line insertion
    • PA catheter insertion
    • Umbilical Venous Catheterization (UVC)
    • Umbilical Artery Catheterization (UAC)
    • PICC placement
  • Manage emergency situations and participate in neonatal resuscitation.
  • Supervise Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) as needed.
  • Document patient care using EPIC EMR.
Qualifications:
  • Must be Board Certified in Neonatology (required).
  • Fellowship in Neonatology (required).
  • Active full Michigan license at time of name clear (required).
  • NALS certification (preferred).
  • Current NRP advanced provider or instructor status (required).
  • Self-Query NPDB (must be pulled within the month) at time of presentation (required).
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board certification in Neonatology (required).
  • Fellowship in Neonatology (required).
  • Active full Michigan license (required; no compact or IMLC accepted).
  • NALS certification (preferred).
  • Current NRP advanced provider or instructor status (required).
