Duluth, MN - Locums Psychiatrist
Availability- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment: Ongoing
- Locum-to-Perm Opportunity Available
Coverage Needed- Full-time preferred
- Will consider providers who can cover a minimum of 2 weeks per month, provided both weeks include call coverage
- Monday-Friday outpatient clinic
- Night, weekend, and evening call coverage
Licensure & Certifications- Board Certified - Required
- BLS - Required
- Fellowship - Required
Required Experience- Adult Psychiatry
- Inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
- Admissions
- Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
- Experience with or willingness to provide:
- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
- Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
- Psychology/Psychotherapy services
- Preferred: Comfortable treating both children (school-aged and older) and adults
Schedule- Monday-Friday Clinic: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 8-hour clinical day plus lunch break
- Up to 18 patients per day
- Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Night Call- 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Covers both inpatient and outpatient services
- No rounding required
Weekend Call- Friday 4:00 PM - Sunday 4:00 PM
- Covers both inpatient and outpatient services
- Includes inpatient rounding
- All new admissions require rounding within 24 hours
- Call coverage needed 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks
- Required call response time: 15 minutes
Practice Details- Inpatient and outpatient practice
- 15-bed adult psychiatric inpatient unit
- Outpatient clinic sees school-aged children through adults
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level II Hospital
