Regular Full-time NY/NJ
The Installer is responsible for the quality installation of new products within schedules and budgets, including Hufcor and other products sold by the distributorship.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete the installation of all products sold by the distributorship per the schedule and budget
Solve field and site problems or issues that interfere with the successful completion of the project
Verify and complete field dimensions and site conditions
Complete punch lists and get required customer signatures
Generate service or maintenance contract leads
Assist with service projects as needed
Cross-train in other responsibilities
Participate in ongoing process improvements
Timely and accurate completion of essential responsibilities
Active involvement in achieving corporate goals
Travel to other distributor sites as requested, when available
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong technical/mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of construction practices
Ability to work with hand and power tools
Ability to be certified in construction equipment such as lifts
Ability to pass any site required drug testing and criminal background checking
Ability to read blueprints and layouts
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Organized, detail and quality oriented
Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on customer satisfaction Minimum Education and Experience:
Education equivalent to a high school diploma
Minimum of two years of construction experience
