Locums - Midland, Michigan - Critical Care NP/PA Job

- Locum tenens opportunity
- Seeking a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Must have at least one year of post-training Critical Care experience
- Inpatient-only practice
- One day of orientation required
- Orientation compensation:
- $400 flat rate for orientations lasting 4 hours or less
- $800 flat rate for orientations exceeding 4 hours
- Clinical procedures include:
- Moderate sedation
- Lumbar puncture
- Endotracheal intubation and extubation
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Ventilator management, oxygen therapy, respiratory weaning, and extubation
- Chest tube insertion
- PICC line, arterial line, and central venous line placement
- Tracheostomy care and tube changes
- Emergent management of tension pneumothorax
- External pacing and temporary pacemaker management
- Must have documentation of at least five proctored cases for each requested procedure
- Clinical support available
- EMR: Epic with Dragon
- ACLS certification required
- Case logs: 50 critical care cases within the past 12 months
- Active Michigan license required (no IMLC or license wait candidates)
- Credentialing typically takes approximately 30 days
