We're looking for a motivated and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. If you have experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diesel and gas-powered equipment, we want to hear from you. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys solving mechanical problems and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on a variety of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and component replacements.
- Troubleshoot diesel and gas engines to identify and resolve equipment failures.
- Repair and maintain AC/DC electrical systems.
- Inspect, repair, and service hydraulic systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Work independently while managing multiple repair priorities.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
- Working knowledge of diesel and gas engines.
- Experience with AC/DC electrical systems.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of mechanical experience working on a variety of equipment and systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and work in shop and outdoor environments as needed.
