- Practice Setting: Anesthesia coverage for the hospital
- Schedule (Shifts/Hours):
- 6:45 am - 3:15 pm (with .5 lunch, 8 hr total)
- 6:45 am - 5:15 pm (with .5 lunch, 10 hr total)
- Call Preferred:
- 6 call shifts/month
- Weekend call: Fri (3 pm or 7 pm) to Mon (7 am)
- Mon-Thur call: 7 am - 7 am
- Call Details at OMH:
- Beeper call
- Weekday call provider covers a room during the day
- ORs operate from 7 am - 5 pm (first cases start at 7:30 am)
- 2 rooms operate until 5 pm, 3 rooms until 3 pm during the week
- One call team available after 5 pm on weekdays, holidays, and weekends
- Documentation System/EMR: Meditech
- Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: TBD, call coverage only
- Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 4
- Annual ER Volume: Approximately 19,000 annually
- Description of OR Staff: Traditional tech, RN
- Number of Operating Rooms: 5 OR's, 2 procedure rooms
- Will you Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License?: Yes
- Certification Requirement (BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.): BLS and ACLS
- Training or Experience Required (Will You Accept New Grads?): No, we prefer experienced providers capable of servicing a level 4 trauma facility with heavy general surgery and GYN, labor & delivery
- Patient Age Demographic (Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric): Primarily Adult, pediatrics are transferred out
