Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional Facility Overview
We are seeking a dedicated locum physician for an interventional radiology position in Bismarck, North Dakota. The facility offers comprehensive healthcare services with state-of-the-art technology and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The selected candidate will enjoy an 8-hour workday, typically from 8 AM to 4 PM, with evening call from 4 PM to 8 AM and 24-hour weekend call opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a wide array of diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions including angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
- Conduct interventional procedures involving vascular access devices, central lines, and port a cath insertions.
- Provide abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and percutaneous needle biopsies.
- Handle pain management procedures and joint/epidural injections.
- Participate in the management of potential strokes, including diagnosing and addressing neurovascular needs (preferred but not required).
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and timely reporting of procedures.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology.
- Completion of an IR residency or fellowship.
- Experience performing all required procedures.
- Current ND medical license, or IMLC if ND license is inactive.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
License and Certification Requirements
- Board Certification is required.
- State License - ND license is highly preferred; IMLC required if the ND license is not active.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date.
