Job description

Brown University is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join our well-established and collaborative women s health team in Providence, RI. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope OB/GYN in a supportive environment with strong clinical resources, dedicated staff, and access to subspecialty care. Our dynamic group sees over 1700 deliveries annually. Excellent academic opportunities including teaching, mentorship, case review, and c-sections with residents within Brown University.

You will join 7 experienced OB/GYN physicians and full-time certified nurse midwives, 1 Gyn/Onc, 1 MFM, and 2 Hospitalists providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. The position offers a balanced schedule with a mix of obstetrics and gynecology (approximately 50/50), protected administrative time, and manageable call responsibilities.

Position Highlights:

  • 4 clinic days per week
  • 5 day of dedicated OR time per week
  • 1 full day of protected administrative time
  • Call schedule: 1:8 rotation, 12 hours, except holidays.

Birthing Center & Clinical Resources:

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Base Salary Range of $260-$300k + incentives up to $50,000 annually.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program
  • Eligible for Rhode Island medical licensure
