What You'll Do
- Provide psychiatric care to a consistent patient caseload in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management
- Diagnose, treat, and manage mental health conditions in older adults
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that improves quality of life
Qualifications
- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Board certification in psychiatry or a minimum of 2 years of direct psychiatric prescription management experience
- Active Virginia license and DEA required
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability and desire to work autonomously
- Passion for mental health and caring for the older adult population
Compensation
Expected compensation ranges from $101,938 to $120,325 annually, with uncapped productivity income potential.
