Machine Operator / Assembler
Pay Rate:$18.00-$20.00 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (Full-Time)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate production equipment, assemble precision components, and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, follows detailed instructions, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with established procedures.
- Assemble small components using hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures to ensure product quality.
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain production efficiency while meeting daily output goals.
- Load materials into machines and monitor equipment during operation.
- Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, or production delays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Accurately complete production documentation and records.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support production objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or assembly experience required.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices, as needed.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
