Job Description: Job Description Community Based Counselor Make a difference in the lives of Orange County Families! Aspire Health Partners is looking to add 6 new counselors to their ALPHA/FOCUS team based across Orange County. Hours: Monday- Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Pay Rate: $21.63 As one of our community-based counselors you will be working with children and families in both community centers and schools to provide counseling services for a variety of issues including: Depression Anger School Difficulties Self-esteem Marital Issues Motivation Trauma AnxietySubstance Abuse Services provided include: Counseling Academic Assistance Character Education Lessons MentoringFamily support Responsibilities Include:Developing case plans Providing therapeutic counseling to clientsAssessing the needs of the client and family to refer them to appropriate support services and programsMost importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures QualificationsMaster's Degree in social services1 year experience working with target population preferredPass a Level II Background clearanceAcceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1 All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: We are committed to providing our employees with the support they need.
