Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong commitment to ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to enhance the shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-organized.
- Upsell products and services to customers by effectively communicating promotions and benefits.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking items and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area and ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Bilingual English/ Spanish Preferred
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills, with bilingual abilities being a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills related to the position.
