Position Summary
SIP Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance, facilities, utilities, sanitation, reliability, and capital project activities for our beverage manufacturing facility operating aluminum can, glass bottle, and PET bottle production lines.
This role is responsible for maximizing equipment reliability and plant uptime while developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, managing facility infrastructure, supporting major maintenance activities, and building a high-performing maintenance organization.
As a member of the plant leadership team, this individual will partner closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and EHS to support safety, quality, service, and operational excellence.
Prior maintenance leadership experience in beverage manufacturing is required. Candidates must have demonstrated success supporting beverage production equipment, maintenance systems, and reliability programs in a food-safe manufacturing environment.

Maintenance & Reliability Leadership
Lead all plant maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, controls, facilities, and utilities.
Develop and execute maintenance strategies that maximize equipment uptime and operational reliability.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs that improve asset performance and reduce downtime.
Utilize CMMS systems to manage work orders, PM schedules, asset history, and inventory control.
Analyze equipment failures and drive root-cause corrective actions.
Manage maintenance budgets, contracts, and spare parts inventory.

Ensure facility infrastructure operates effectively, including HVAC, plumbing, roofing, lighting, fire protection, dock equipment, electrical systems, and compressed air systems.
Develop facility improvement plans that support business growth.
Sanitation & Housekeeping
Lead plant-wide sanitation and housekeeping programs.
Maintain clean, organized, safe, and audit-ready conditions throughout the facility.
Manage Master Sanitation Schedules.
Oversee internal sanitation teams and external service providers.
Drive 5S and workplace organization initiatives.
Ensure GMP compliance and audit readiness.

Manage and maintain:

Develop schedules, staffing plans, contractor scopes, and budgets.
Coordinate procurement of critical parts and outside services.
Conduct post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement.
Capital Projects & Commissioning
Lead equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements.
Participate in equipment selection and design reviews.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance.
Coordinate FAT and SAT activities.
Lead startup and commissioning efforts.
Ensure smooth transition into production and maintenance programs.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing maintenance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Develop technical and leadership training plans.
Conduct performance evaluations and succession planning.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Industrial Engineering

Related Technical Discipline
Experience
8+ years of progressive maintenance and facilities leadership experience.
5+ years leading maintenance teams in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Beverage manufacturing experience required.
Proven experience managing shutdowns, capital projects, and equipment commissioning.
Strong understanding of reliability-centered maintenance and asset management principles.

Salary Range: $135,000-$155,000 annually
Compensation will be based on experience, technical expertise, leadership capability, and manufacturing background.
