Job description

  • Dates: June 12th-ongoing
  • Skillset: full skillset - OB (epidurals), nerve blocks, general, ortho.
  • Patient Volume: Typically 3-8 cases depending on surgical volume, could be temporarily lower due to lower volume. OB, 125-140 deliveries annually, including 30-35 C-sections
  • Average Daily Cases: Projected 1,800 OR cases in 2026 or 7 cases/weekday between 2 CRNA
  • Typical Model w/ two General Surgeons and 3 CRNA's
  • CRNA 1 (First Call): Covers weekday cases and serves as a primary night/weekend call. May assist with rapid response or difficult intubations if the ER is overwhelmed, though this is rare.
  • CRNA 2 (Second Call): Often in-house during weekdays and usually done by 3:00 PM. May not be needed on lighter days but can assist with ortho turnover efficiency. Rarely called in after-hours but remains backup support for CRNA 1.
  • CRNA 3: Off duty.
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Certifications: WI license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (NRP not required but suggested) RQI accepted if applicable
