Position Summary: As a Sewer you will sew cut patterns and follow established procedures in the efficient operations of the sewing team. Essential Duties: Receive and follow the direction of the Sewing and Finishing Team Supervisor.Operate various sewing machines.Properly use and maintain your sewing machine.Sew fabric for cushions and pillows according to cut patterns and established quality standards.Maintain the workflow by order date.Acknowledge and prioritize rush orders.Inspect units and finished units for any flaws or structural defaults.Complies with all safety regulations and maintains the workstation in a neat, clean orderly fashion.Experience: 5 to 10 years working in a high-volume sewing position is highly desired.
