Skillset: Cardiac Sonographer (Echo tech)
Position Details:
On-Call Requirements: Approx. every 5th weekend (Friday to Monday), one night per week, and
potential holiday coverage. Must respond within 1 hour.
Required Qualifications:
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited Cardiac Diagnostic Sonography
program (2-year program).
Registry eligible for Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS.
RCS Certification eligible through CCI.
Required Skills & Experience:
Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
o Inpatient portable echocardiography.
o Outpatient echocardiography.
Structural Heart Familiarity
Ultrasound Contrast and Agitated Saline Use
Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
o Includes TEE probe high-level disinfection (HLD).
Adult Stress Echocardiography (STE)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Pediatric Echocardiography
Experience with EPIC EMR
Equipment Used:
Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System
