Job description

  • Ortho Hand coverage
  • Clinic/ Call coverage
  • SC Licensed, CSR, and DEA License
  • Board Certified: Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Must have completed a Orthopaedic residency and hand fellowship
  • Locum Ortho surgeon - clinic / Call
  • Clinic hours are 0730 - 1700 Monday - Thursday and 0730 -1200 on Fridays.
  • Clinic volumes include: 45 patients on full days and 20-25 patients on half days
  • Surgical Volume per week: 5-14 cases
  • Midlevel support available inpatient and outpatient
  • They may get an occasional inpatient consult, but we have trauma APP's to help with this
  • Physician will round in the hospital daily while here during the week, with an average number of inpatients rounded on daily being 0-6 pts/day.
  • Age range of patient population: Adolescent to geriatric
  • Procedures required: Elbow down
  • EMR: EPIC
