Senior HR Advisor - Moses Lake, WA (Columbia Basin Facility)

Summary This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of policies and programs covering several or all of the following HR programs: recruiting, salary, administration benefits administration, training, employee and labor relation, safety and personnel research. Provides input in the development of policies and procedures. (These are entry level, professional, exempt positions.) Individuals in these positions receive support and direction from Group and Corporate HR functions.
Key Responsibilities Partners with managers and supervisors to provide guidance on employee relations matters, including discipline and termination procedures. May lead recruitment and selection efforts for both hourly and salaried positions, conduct exit interviews, and provide management with insights on key employee trends and issues. Oversees the accuracy and maintenance of employee records, including new hires, compensation changes, terminations, and other employment status updates. Supports audits, affirmative action initiatives, and compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations. Serves as a trusted resource for managers and employees by providing guidance on personnel policies, practices, and procedures in alignment with labor agreements and local work rules when applicable. Assists in resolving employee and workplace issues while ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and escalates complex issues to the HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or corporate functional teams as appropriate. Provides support and counseling to employees on employment-related, educational, and human resources matters. Responsible for leave management programs and oversees the administration of Transitional Return to Work, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Short-Term Disability (STD) programs. May facilitate new hire and benefits orientation. Leads and supports employee engagement initiatives, including Service Awards, United Way campaigns, and other company-sponsored events. Manages donation and public relations budgets while fostering strong community partnerships. Represents the company at local events and activities to strengthen community relationships and enhance the organization's reputation.
Typical Education Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university Relevant Experience 3+ years related experience and/or training
Pay Grade: Global Grade 3 Location(s): GF Columbia Basin Plant - Moses Lake Country: United States Wage range or rate of pay: $80,169 - $90,000 annually, plus annual incentive plan eligibility The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons.
