    Job Details
  • The Lab Pathologist Assistant provides anatomic pathology services under the direction and supervision of a Pathologist.
  • Assists in the preparation and performance of human surgical specimen dissection.
  • Assists in the preparation and performance of human postmortem examination with subsequent dissection, submission of samples, and dictation of gross findings.
  • Preparation, gross description, and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens.
  • Assisting with frozen section evaluation.
  • Performing gross examination, selection of tissue.
  • Cryotomy of specimen and subsequent staining for intraoperative evaluation by a Pathologist.
  • Preparation and performance of human postmortem examinations.
    Job Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Completion of a Pathology Assistance Training Program.
    Schedule Information
  • Day shift.
  • 8 hours per day.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Monday - Friday.
