ATSS has openings for SHEETMETAL MECHANICS 1ST at our clients Pascagoula, MS facility.
Must haves:
Be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Be able to read/write/communicate in English
Must Have :
Requires a minimum of four (4) years of sheetmetal experience or related craft experience in joiner, shipfitting, and/or carpentry.
Nice to Have:
Prefer candidates with the ability to set up and operate a variety of sheetmetal machines such as brakes and shears, pass a skill assessment test, ability to read marine blueprints, and work from standard and metric specifications.
Job Description:
Fabricates and installs a variety of sheet metal such as ductwork, venting systems, main engine exhaust, metal containers and instrumentation panels. Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, and other specifications, using shop mathematics.
- Location: Pascagoula, MS
- Duration: Initially 1 year
- Base Pay Range: $38.00 per hour, depending on level of experience
- Per Diem $147.04 a day with verification of an address 75 miles away from job site
- Start Date As soon as possible
