Job description

Locums - Hospitalist and Nocturnist coverage for Washington D.C.Clinical Role:
  • Hospitalists and Nocturnists needed with September 1 target start date
  • Temp privileges possible with clean files
  • Ongoing coverage opportunity
  • Shift times are 7a - 7p and 7p -7a
  • Day shift responsibilities are primarily rounding and includes admissions Friday thru Sunday
  • Average day shift encounters is 15.6
  • 3 Hospitalists on during day shift
  • APP on 9a-7p Monday thru Thursday; hours may change
  • 8-9 Admissons on nights on average; also provide cross-coverage
  • No procedures required, can request if have recent experience
  • Closed ICU
  • 24 hour coverage of ICU provided by Intensivists
  • Hospitalist team responds to cods when available and does partiicipate in RRT
  • 130 bed hospital with Level III Trauma
Requirements:
  • Board Certified or truly Board Eligilbe Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Hospitalist medicine experience
  • Active D.C. license, DEA and CSR at time of submission
  • Cerner experience preferred; not required
