Locums Physician Opportunity St. Ignace, Michigan Primary CareLocation

St. Ignace, Michigan

Availability
  • Start Date: August 3, 2026
  • Minimum duration: 12 weeks
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Thursday
  • Coverage: Temporary fill-in until permanent hire starts
License Requirements
  • Active Michigan Medical License - Required
  • Active DEA - Required
  • Local to Michigan / drive-in provider - Required
Required Certifications & Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Primary Care - Required(Must become Board Certified within 3 years of training completion)
  • BLS - Required
  • Minimum 1 year of Primary Care experience - Required
Practice Setting
  • Outpatient Primary Care clinic
  • Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
  • 2-3 exam rooms
  • EPIC EMR
  • Supporting team includes 5 physicians and 4 mid-level providers
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and management of acute conditions and blood pressure issues
  • Routine primary care visits (18-22 patients per day)
  • Gynecologic care including:
    • Pelvic exams
    • Pap smears
  • Occupational medicine procedures including:
    • Disability exams
  • No supervisory responsibilities
  • No emergency department backup required
Submission Requirements
  • Active Michigan Medical License - Required
  • Active DEA - Required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (with certification required within 3 years) - Required
  • Minimum 1 year of Primary Care experience - Required
  • BLS - Required
  • Must be local to Michigan (drive-in provider) - Required
  • Availability Monday-Thursday full-time - Required
Additional Details
  • Temporary coverage for approximately 12 weeks
  • EPIC EMR
  • Outpatient adult/geriatric-focused primary care setting
