Locum tenens opportunity
Seeking a board certified Sleep Medicine physician
Dual board certification in Pulmonary Medicine is highly preferred
Client will consider physicians who:
- Have an active New Hampshire license
- Are eligible through the IMLC
- Need a New Hampshire license
New Hampshire offers both temporary and locum licenses
Approximately six-month assignment while the organization recruits for a permanent physician
100% outpatient practice
Monday-Friday
8:00 AM-5:00 PM
No call
No inpatient responsibilities
Evaluate and treat new and established patients with a wide variety of sleep disorders, including:
- Obstructive sleep apnea
- Insomnia
- Hypersomnia
- Restless legs syndrome
- REM sleep behavior disorder
- Circadian rhythm disorders
Interpret sleep studies and in-lab polysomnography
Manage PAP, CPAP, and BiPAP therapy
Prescribe and manage medications related to sleep disorders
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Coordinate durable medical equipment (DME) when appropriate
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management
Collaborate with pulmonology, primary care, cardiology, neurology, ENT, respiratory therapy, sleep technologists, and other specialists
EMR: Meditech Expanse
BLS required
