OB/GYN
Position Overview
Seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN to provide a combination of outpatient clinic coverage and inpatient call coverage. The provider will manage a mix of obstetric and gynecologic patients in a collaborative practice with support from Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Practice OB physicians.
Compensation:
$290/hr
Schedule
Start: As soon as credentialed
Assignment Length: 3 6 months
3 clinic shifts and 1 call shift per week
Clinic: 8:00 AM 4:45 PM
Call: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Flexible scheduling based on provider availability

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care
Manage labor and delivery patients
Assist Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Practice OB physicians
Provide gynecology emergency coverage
Care for a mix of:
% Obstetrics
% Gynecology
Treat both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients, including diabetes, hypertension, advanced maternal age, and twin pregnancies
Perform annual exams, abnormal uterine bleeding evaluations, contraception counseling, and surgical consultations
Perform office procedures including:
Colposcopy
LEEP
IUD placement and removal
Nexplanon placement
Depo-Provera injections
Circumcisions (optional)
Practice Details

Level II nursery with 24-hour nursery staff
CNMs provide deliveries, first assist in the OR, and triage coverage
Physician averages 1 2 deliveries per 24-hour call shift
Office ultrasound available with onsite sonographer
Procedure room for office gynecology procedures

Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified in OB/GYN (highly preferred) or Truly Board Eligible
Active Washington license or Active IMLC Letter of Qualification
BLS
DEA (required during credentialing)
Clean malpractice/background history preferred
NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation
Additional Information
Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days.
Local candidates are strongly preferred.
Providers should be comfortable practicing in a community hospital environment and caring for a diverse patient population.
