Job description

Coverage Needed

  • Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
    • Includes day time rounding 6-8 hours, remainder of shift is unrestricted call
  • Shifts Per Month: Up to 15
  • Open Dates: July 24th (7am)- August 3rd (7am)

Clinical Details

  • Low-volume
  • Level II Nursery and ED
  • Patients Per Day: 0-8
  • Treatment of newborns to young adults ages 0-21
  • Support Staff: Techs, nurses, OB/GYNs, dedicated OB OR, anesthesia staff
  • Required Procedures: Arterial blood sampling; Biopsy (simple excisional skin); Bladder taps; Endotracheal intubation; I&D of superficial abscesses; Laceration repair (simple); Lumbar puncture; Peripheral arterial puncture; Reduction of simple closed extremity fractures; Reduction of uncomplicated joint dislocations; Frenotomy or frenulectomy; Ventilator management (initiate only)

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Active OR license
  • Active OR DEA or transferable
  • Must be available for listed dates
