Setting: Hospital Call
Responsibilities:
- Inpatient trauma call coverage overnight
- General surgery patient management
Required Procedures:
- General Surgical Case Adult
- General Surgical Case Trauma
- Central Line Insertion
- Chest Tube Insertion
- Vascular Access Devices
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff:
- Trauma Surgeons on call from home
Days Per Month:
On-Call/Weekends: Weekends Required
Submission Requirements:
- Certified Physician Assistant Required
- Active Michigan License Required
- Local Candidate Required
- Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days of presentation) Required
