Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Dispatcher to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring timely communication with freight carriers and warehouse personnel. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, and warehouse staff regarding shipment status.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve transportation issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Track deliveries and provide shipment updates as needed.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and filed appropriately.
• Support warehouse operations as needed to meet business demands.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Shipping & Receiving, Dispatch, or Logistics required.
• Familiarity with freight carriers and transportation coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
