Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 / hour (Based on soldering experience)
Job Summary

A premier engineering consultancy and medical device manufacturing organization in Providence, RI is seeking motivated Manufacturing Assembly Operators to join our team for an urgent 1st shift requirement.
In this role, you will perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of small medical devices. This is an incredible opportunity with a 1-week structured computer and hands-on training program, offering a stable schedule and long-term contract-to-hire potential based on your attendance and quality of work.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools, fixtures, and blueprints
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO requirements carefully
- Conduct visual and in-process quality inspections on small parts and sub-assemblies
- Maintain operating logs, documentation, and a clean, safe workspace (5S/6S standards)
- Comfortably wear cleanroom apparel (gowns, masks, safety glasses, hairnets) as required by production zones
Qualifications & Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is strictly required.
• 0-1+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or technical production experience (willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude-not looking for heavy machine operators).
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with very small parts and tools.
• Ability to read, understand, and carefully follow written procedure logs.
• Exceptional reliability, punctuality, and daily attendance are absolute dealbreakers.
