Job Description: Associate Director / Director, Medical Science Liaison Womens HealthUS Job ID: # of Openings: 1Category: Medical Science LiaisonBESTMSLsOverview This field-based Medical Science Liaison role supports the Women's Health therapeutic area across the United States (exact territory to be determined), with a focus on engaging key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers in high-quality scientific exchange. The Associate Director/Director will serve as a critical link between external stakeholders and the Medical Affairs organization, driving insight generation and contributing to the development and execution of medical strategy. This role requires deep expertise in Women's Health, including exposure to contraception, and a strong ability to translate complex clinical data into meaningful, actionable discussions. The individual will proactively identify unmet educational needs, deliver non-promotional scientific support, and play a key role in shaping medical activities through external insights, cross-functional collaboration, and participation in major scientific congresses. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute, monitor, and adapt strategic MSL stakeholder engagement plans for target KOLs and HCPs in alignment with Medical Affairs leadershipLead high-quality scientific exchange through both proactive and reactive interactions with external stakeholdersRespond to unsolicited medical requests (UMRs) with accurate, compliant, and timely scientific communicationsIdentify and communicate insights, trends, and activities of other Medical Affairs organizations working with shared stakeholdersAssess and communicate unmet educational needs of KOLs and HCPs; translate insights into actionable strategiesPartner with Medical leadership to develop innovative, non-promotional medical education materials (e.g., slide decks, presentations, digital content) tailored to stakeholder needsGather and synthesize KOL insights to inform broader medical strategy and organizational decision-makingDevelop and share internal reports including advisory board summaries, congress insights, and stakeholder feedbackRepresent Medical Affairs at congresses and scientific meetings, including staffing booths and engaging external expertsDeliver internal training on disease states, clinical data, and products using approved materials as appropriateMaintain accurate and timely documentation of HCP interactions in CRM systemsManage administrative responsibilities including expense reporting and activity trackingContribute to cross-functional collaboration and strategic initiatives within Medical AffairsPerform additional duties as needed QualificationsAdvanced degree required (MD, PhD, PharmD)Associate Director: Minimum 5+ years of experience as an MSL Director: Minimum 8+ years of experience as an MSLExperience in Women's Health / OB-GYN requiredStrong understanding of MSL roles and responsibilities, clinical trials, and relevant therapeutic areasKnowledge of applicable compliance frameworks, including interactions with healthcare providers, promotional regulations, and industry codesProven ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs, academic institutions, and patient advocacy groupsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical dataDemonstrated ability to identify insights from stakeholder interactions and translate them into strategic recommendationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing prioritiesSelf-motivated, accountable, and results-oriented with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyAdaptable and comfortable navigating a dynamic and evolving environmentCommitted to fostering an inclusive and diverse working environment Additional DetailsUS-based, field role (remote)Ability to travel extensively (approximately 50-80%), including overnight and occasional weekend travelTerritory may evolve based on business needsProficiency in English (written and verbal) required PI96e8dbbde5-
