This fully remote position offers consistent scheduling, resident teaching responsibilities, and the opportunity to work within a high-volume emergency radiology environment.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting a broad range of emergency and acute care imaging studies, collaborating with residents during overnight shifts, and delivering timely, high-quality diagnostic interpretations. Providers interested in covering one week per month or multiple weeks per month are encouraged to apply.

Assignment Details

Practice Setting: Telehealth / Teleradiology
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Start Date: September 1, 2026
End Date: December 31, 2026
Schedule: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM EST
Coverage Need: 2 3 weeks per month preferred
Minimum Availability: At least 7 shifts per month
Patient Volume: Approximately emergency department cases per 8-hour shift
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight remote diagnostic radiology coverage
- Interpret emergency and acute care imaging studies
- Deliver accurate and timely reports in a high-volume setting
- Collaborate with overnight clinical teams
- Teach and support radiology residents during shifts
- Participate in phone consultations as needed
- Maintain high-quality documentation and reporting standards
Qualifications Required
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
- Active Michigan medical license
- Clean malpractice history
- Strong experience in emergency and acute care radiology
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume overnight environment
- Resident teaching experience or willingness to teach residents
