Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice as a Supervising Psychiatrist. This leadership position combines advanced psychiatric care with clinical supervision, provider mentorship, and program development within an innovative integrative and interventional psychiatry model.
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering evidence-based psychiatric care, supporting multidisciplinary providers, and helping expand specialty services including Ketamine therapy, Spravato (esketamine), and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
Diagnose and treat complex psychiatric disorders.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with emphasis on harm reduction and minimizing polypharmacy.
Order and interpret laboratory testing, pharmacogenomic testing, and cognitive assessments.
Oversee and prescribe interventional psychiatry treatments including: Ketamine Infusion Therapy, Spravato (Esketamine), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Clinical Leadership
Provide supervision and clinical oversight for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and therapists.
Serve as collaborating physician for NP/PA practice agreements as required.
Consult on complex or high-risk psychiatric cases.
Participate in peer review, case consultation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Mentor providers and support ongoing clinical competency development.
Assist with development and implementation of clinical protocols and standards of care.
Participate in internal patient care investigations when necessary.
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified in Psychiatry.
Active, unrestricted medical license (Colorado preferred).
Experience with TMS, Ketamine Therapy, Spravato, or other interventional psychiatry treatments.
Active DEA registration.
Eligible for credentialing with commercial and government insurance plans.
Strong EHR and computer proficiency.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
