Facility is looking for temporary coverage until a hired provider is able to start - MD/DO for role - only 1 provider is needed
- Tentative start date- August 3, 2026. Estimated need 12 weeks minimum
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: range of 18-22 per day
- Number of Physicians in Practice: For primary care, 5 physicians
- How Many Mid-Levels Provide Coverage: 4
- Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers? No
- Will the Locum Tenens Physician be Expected to Provide Backup for the ED? No
- Number of Exam Rooms: 2-3
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Practice Population: Adult/Geriatric
- Required General Procedures: "Evaluation and Mgmt. of Acute Volume / BP Issues"
- Required Gynecology Procedures: "Pelvic Exam / Pap Smear"
- Required Occupational Medicine Procedures: "Disability Exams"
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: We will do temporary privileges - 10 business days
Submission Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be board certified within 3 years after finishing) - REQUIRED
- 1 year of Primary Care experience - REQUIRED
- Active DEA - REQUIRED
- Active MI license - REQUIRED
- Must be available Full Time M-Thurs - REQUIRED
- The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - REQUIRED
- BLS - REQUIRED
- Local to MI - drive in provider - REQUIRED
