Location: Kansas City Metropolitan Area, KS

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join a growing, physician-led radiology practice. The ideal candidate will provide a full spectrum of image-guided minimally invasive procedures while participating in diagnostic imaging services as desired. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and X-ray (optional for Interventional Radiologists).
  • Evaluate patients before and after procedures, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, oncologists, vascular specialists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Perform procedures including:
    • Biopsies
    • Drain placements
    • Vascular access
    • Angiography
    • Embolization
    • Venous interventions
    • Dialysis access management
    • Additional interventional procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of procedures and imaging findings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and departmental meetings.
  • Utilize advanced PACS, RIS, and image-guidance technology to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR).
  • Eligible for or currently holding an active Missouri or Kansas medical license (preferred for faster onboarding).
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology preferred.
  • Excellent procedural, clinical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
