Assignment Details- Start: ASAP, ongoing
- Coverage type: Primarily scheduled cases (call optional but valued)
- Setting: 15 ORs at Level 2 trauma facility, 4 endo suites, plus ambulatory surgery locations
- Volume: 4-5 patients/shift
- Care model: Supervised practice
- Cases performed: complete ortho, complex vascular, head/spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, thoracic (NO cardiac)
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 90 days
- Nearest airport: Duluth (DLH); MSP 2 hours
Clinical Details- CRNA coverage - supervised practice model
- Required scope: general anesthesia (adult), obstetric cases, neurosurgical (head and spine), thoracic (except open heart), complex vascular (except open heart), complex orthopedic, pain management techniques, ventilation management, acute volume/BP management, arterial line placement
- Preferred scope: pediatric general anesthesia, trauma general anesthesia
- Not required: neonatal, spinal/epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia surgery, open heart, post-op blocks, epidural steroids, transforaminal, x-ray guidance, central line, PA catheter, CRNA supervision
Requirements- CRNA, NBCRNA certified
- License: any state accepted (MN obtained during credentialing) or IMLC
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Active DEA
Compensation- Rate negotiable, open to your number
