    Job Details
  • The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision as directed according to established standards and practices.
  • Provides technical assistance and training to students.
  • Completes all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures.
  • Supports all functions, goals, and objectives of the department as well as development of any new programs that involve the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Must have both inpatient and outpatient EEG experience.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems.
  • Patient Population: EMU, ICU, Pediatric and adult patients.

  • High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
  • Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
  • 5x8 hours per week.
  • Weekends and Holidays as needed.
  • On call required.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit
  • Patient Population includes EMU, ICU, Pediatric and adult patients
    Additional Details
  • Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.
