Locums Cardiology APP (PA or NP) Eureka, CA (CA license required)Why This Role
- No call, predictable Monday-Friday schedule (8a-5p)
- Long-term assignment with locums-to-perm potential
- Strong support team: 10 MAs, 2 APPs, 1 RN, 2 office staff
- Either PA or NP eligible
Assignment Details- Start: September 1, 2026, ongoing
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with 1-hour lunch
- Coverage type: No call, full-time
- Commitment: 35-40 hours per week
- Setting: Inpatient + outpatient (clinic and hospital coverage), Level 3 trauma
- Volume: 12 patients/shift
- Support: 10 MAs, 2 APPs, 1 RN, 2 office staff
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 60-90 days
- OT after 9 hours/day (must be preapproved by clinic manager)
Clinical Details- Cardiology APP coverage - inpatient/outpatient and rounding
- Inpatient/rounding in cardiology within the last 2 years required
Requirements- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified
- Active CA license
- ACLS, BLS
- Active DEA
- 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in cardiology required (gaps greater than 3 months must be explained)
- Inpatient/rounding cardiology experience within the last 2 years required
Compensation- Rate caps apply per facility
