APP Internal Medicine (Primary Care)Location: Manlius, New YorkPosition Overview•Provide comprehensive primary care services under the supervision of a physician in a collaborative outpatient practice. •Deliver preventive, acute, and chronic disease management for patients across a broad spectrum of health conditions. •Obtain comprehensive medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop individualized treatment plans. •Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient management. •Prescribe medications, administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and provide follow-up care within the scope of practice. •Counsel and educate patients on preventive healthcare, disease management, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment plans. •Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. •Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention while utilizing evidence-based clinical practices. •Practice in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values work-life balance, professional development, and high-quality patient care. •Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule with no mandatory overtime, promoting an excellent work-life balance. •Opportunities for long-term career growth and professional advancement within a stable and expanding medical practice. •Competitive compensation package with annual salary increases and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings with employer match, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, employee assistance programs, flexible spending or health savings accounts, and a $2,000 annual CME allowance. •Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $175,000 annually, based on experience, base salary, and productivity incentives. •Enjoy living and working in Manlius, New York, a charming suburban community offering excellent schools, beautiful parks, outdoor recreation, and convenient access to the greater Syracuse area. Job Requirements•Current New York State certification/registration as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). •Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. •Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. •Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations while demonstrating leadership when appropriate. •Knowledge of current and emerging clinical technologies, techniques, and evidence-based practices. •Strong understanding of patient safety, quality assurance, and infection prevention standards. •Knowledge of health promotion, health risk assessment, preventive care, and patient education principles. •Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
